Groove Loch Ness 2017 Line-up Announced
Scotland's Nightclub Under the Stars, Groove Loch Ness returns to the iconic location on the banks of Loch Ness on 19th August 2017 with a line-up of world class DJ's and electronic artists.
Heading up the initial line-up announcement are forerunners of dance music, FAITHLESS (DJ Set).
Exploding onto the scene in 1994 and quickly establishing worldwide status with their singles 'Salva Mea, 'Reverence' and the timeless classic 'Insomnia', throughout their career they continued to push boundaries with tracks including 'God is a DJ' and /We Come 1' that sound as fresh today as they did the day they were released.
FAITHLESS remain firmly engrained in the hearts and minds of Dance fans throughout the world.
Next up is Ollie Jones aka SKREAM, who found the spotlight from a very young age, becoming the poster boy for a new sound taking the world by storm from his hometown of Croydon, Dubstep.
Genre defining EP’s and albums, such as Skream!
And Magnetic Man followed, before Skream boldly stepped outside of his comfort zone and began focusing his production and DJing on the 4×4 sounds of House, Techno and Disco.
His latest release, ‘You Know, Right?’ was one of THE tracks of last year, and his DJ sets, solo or as part of J.E.S.u.S, were massive highlights.
Also appearing on the bill is one of the most distinctive and diverse figurers in the UK house explosion, Bristols JULIO BASHMORE.
Having graced clubs and electronic festivals throughout the world we can't wait for him to make his Loch Ness debut.
THEO KOTTIS has been poised for big things ever since his spectacular debut ‘Waiting Game’, was released on Moda Black.
Having DJ’d alongside Jamie Jones, Tale Of Us, Seth Troxler and David August and being able to count the likes of Pete Tong, Solomun and Simian Mobile Disco as fans, Theo has established himself as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging talents.
London based music producer and label head KIDNAP KID also joins the line-up.
At a young age, he has developed a name synonymous with consistent quality and outstanding musical ability.
In 2016, Kidnap Kid launched 'Birds That Fly', a record label and nesting ground for his and others' musical output.
Rounding off the initial line up are local contingent OUT/DORES DJ's featuring a wealth of Highland talent at the forefront of the regional clubbing scene.
'We are delighted to be returning to Loch Ness for our third outing of Groove this August.
“We are working on a few surprises for the site this year and can't wait to bring back the nightclub under the stars to this stunning location.
“We are thrilled with our initial line-up and look forward to unveiling more details over the coming months.” Said Caroline Campbell Groove Loch Ness
