A temporary road closure on a section of the U4444 Dingwall to Evanton back road will be in place from 8am on Monday 8 June until 5pm on Friday 12 June.

The section of road affected will be from the U4444 junction with Deas Avenue and will extend in a north easterly direction for around 500 metres to its junction with Tulloch Avenue.

The temporary closure is to allow contractors to carry out tree felling work on behalf of Highland council safely.

The trees marked for removed are all diseased Elm trees which are dead and getting dangerous as they are starting to fall down on the road.

Access for pedestrian, residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained.

Alternative routes for all other road users will be available via Tulloch Avenue – A862 – A834.
