A Summer Ride Just Down The Road With Royal Enfield

There’s a certain kind of joy that only comes from the open road, the gentle hum of an engine beneath you, and the promise of good company at the other end and this summer, Royal Enfield is inviting riders from the Highlands and beyond to share in that joy, with a series of ride-outs and events that celebrate everything we love about life on two wheels.

For Highland riders, the date to mark is Saturday 19 July, when Royal Enfield’s much-loved RED Days roll into Perth, offering the perfect excuse to take the bike out, stretch the journey south, and spend a day surrounded by engines, stories and the easy camaraderie that only fellow riders can bring.

Just down the road at Revolutions on Arran Road, riders will be welcomed with warmth and the full 2025 Royal Enfield range, from the enduring charm of the Meteor to the rugged confidence of the Himalayan 450, with test rides available throughout the day and booking recommended to secure a place on the saddle of your choice.

RED Days, short for Royal Enfield Demo Days are not just about the bikes, though the bikes are reason enough, but about the atmosphere, the conversations, the shared glances of understanding between strangers who all know the pull of a summer ride and the magic of finding your rhythm on the road.

Further afield, Royal Enfield is proudly supporting the Women in Moto weekender, taking place on the 16th and 17th of August at Uttoxeter Racecourse, a celebration not just of women riders, but of inclusion, passion and the power of community, with inspirational speakers, test rides, workshops and a sense of welcome that extends to everyone, regardless of what or how long you’ve been riding.

For those drawn to the wild hills of Wales, the Royal Enfield Owners Club Rally from 15 to 17 August will bring together a small but spirited group at Baskerville Hall, where trails wind through ancient forests and the weekend’s activities include off-road training, group ride-outs, and even the chance to take a classic Royal Enfield for a spin, all delivered in the understated, good-natured style that has defined the Riders Club for decades.

And later in August, the next chapter of the Journey, Destination, Memories ride unfolds in Norfolk, with a community ride-out from Moonraker Motorcycles to Wings & Wheels at Felthorpe Airfield on 12 August, where food, laughter and the hum of happy engines will mark Moonraker’s 40th anniversary with warmth and celebration.

Wherever you ride from, and however far you go, these events remind us that motorcycling isn’t about speed or distance or prestige, but about freedom, friendship, and the quiet moments of happiness that live in the spaces between the miles.
