Appeal After Motorcyclist Leaves Scene of A835 Crash Near Tore

Police are appealing for information following a crash involving a car and a motorbike on the A835 near Tore.

The incident happened at around midnight on Sunday 28 June 2026 on the A835 between Maryburgh and the Tore Roundabout, south of Conon Junction.

The crash involved a black Volkswagen Golf and a motorbike.

No injuries were reported as a result of the collision, although the Volkswagen sustained damage.

Police say the rider of the motorbike left the scene before officers arrived.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Officers are now seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle travelling in the area beforehand.

Sergeant Joanne Thomson said:

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the crash, or who saw either vehicle prior, to get in touch with officers.

“I’d also ask that those with dash-cam footage review this to see if it has captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
