Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road crash on the A82 near the Falls of Falloch that left four people in hospital.

Emergency services were called to the collision between Crianlarich and Tarbet at around 11.50am on Wednesday 5 August.

The crash involved a white Peugeot 3008 and a turquoise Toyota Yaris.

A man and woman travelling in one of the vehicles were taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

A man and woman travelling in the second vehicle were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with injuries described as serious.

The A82 was closed while emergency services attended the scene and collision investigations were carried out before reopening at around 6.55pm.

Police Scotland said enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are continuing.

Constable Gary Barkham said:

“Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash and who hasn’t already spoken to officers to contact us.

“I would also ask anyone with dash cam footage or who may have seen either car prior to the crash to get in touch.”
