Police are appealing for information following two break ins reported in Inverness on Thursday 2nd of April 2026.
Officers received a report at around 4.25pm of a break in at a property on Drakies Avenue where a three figure sum of cash was taken.
A second incident was reported at around 5.55pm on Swanston Avenue where a quantity of jewellery was stolen.
Police are keeping an open mind on whether the two incidents are linked.
The suspect is described as a white male of slim build, around 5ft 9in tall, wearing dark jogging bottoms, black shoes with a white sole and a face covering.
Enquiries are ongoing as officers continue to gather information.
Detective Constable Gary Hines said:
“Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone with any information to contact us.
“I would also ask anyone who was in the areas around the time and who may have dash cam or private CCTV which could assist to get in touch.”

The appeal comes as officers continue efforts to trace those responsible and gather further evidence from the public.
