The Highland Council are planning to carry out daytime carriageway resurfacing improvements on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula.

The location of works include the  A861, B8007 and A884.

Resurfacing improvements will start on Monday 13 May 2024 for an expected duration of 3-weeks.

All works will be daytime works and no works will take place over the weekend.

Due to the narrow carriageway widths and single carriageway sections of the routes, and to protect the workforce and members of the public the road requires to be closed with amnesty opening periods.

The table below outlines the location of works, dates and amnesty schedule

This essential surfacing programme is a significant capital spend which will fix existing carriageway defects and significantly improve road conditions, we thank the public for their patience.

Should you require any further information, or any queries related to this above work, please email the roads team at: Roads.LNBS@highland.gov.uk
