Police Scotland have confirmed that the body of a man was found near to Great Glen Way within Craig Phadrig Woods, Inverness, around 7pm on Wednesday, 7 July, 2021.
Formal identification has still to take place, however the family of George Critch, 63, who had been reported missing from the Kinmylies area of Inverness on Wednesday, 9 June, 2021, have been informed.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
