£250 prize available for best snap of a reusable cup and NC500 view
Environmental charity Keep Scotland Beautiful has launched an exciting photo competition as part of Cup Movement® in the Highlands.
As part of #BrewWithAView, prizes of £250, £100 and £50 are on offer as the charity celebrates the many beautiful locations across the North Coast 500 where you can stop for a cuppa as well as the pioneering businesses encouraging customers to purchase their hot drinks in a reusable cup.
The summer holidays means that more people than ever will be visiting the Highlands and enjoying the incredible scenery as they travel the NC500, and we’d love to see where you, and your reusable cup, stop for your brew along the way.
The charity recently found that 82% of the people surveyed in the Highlands are concerned about the amount of single-use disposable takeaway cups used, and 90% are concerned about the environmental impact of takeaway food and drink containers being littered.
Cup Movement® in the Highlands’ aim is to reduce the number of single-use cups used and increase the use of reusable cups by encouraging customers to bring their own reusable cup or download the Vytal app and participate in our cup library service.

“Cup Movement® in the Highlands has already reduced the number of single-use cups used, with more than 500 Vytal cups being borrowed so far.
“Our #BrewWithAView campaign aims to showcase the best Highland scenery and our Vytal cups, or customers’ own reusable options, as they travel along the North Coast 500.
“By taking part in Cup Movement® and sharing your best photos with us on social media, not only are you helping us reduce the number of single-use products being used, you’re also in with a chance of winning some great prizes as you enjoy a guilt-free hot drink.”
