Closure of B9174 Lamington Street, High Street and Tower Street, Tain

The B9174 Lamington Street, High Street and Tower Street in Tain will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday 27 November 2021.

The closure will take place between 10am and remain in effect until 5pm on 27 November.

The closure is to facilitate the staging of the Christmas Market and switching on of the Christmas Lights.

The B9174 (Lamington Street, High Street and Tower Street) will be closed from its junction with Geanies Street north westwards to its junction with Rose Street and Chapel Street, Tain, for approx 430m.

Pedestrian access will remain at all times. An alternative route for vehicular traffic will be available via Queen Street, Manse Street and Hill Street or Rose Street.

Access to the car park adjacent to the Royal Hotel will be maintained via St. Duthus Street.
