Chief Executive of Moray Council, Roddy Burns, has confirmed the resignation of Councillor Christopher Price yesterday (17 August 2022).
“Cllr Price was elected as a Scottish Liberal Democrat councillor in the uncontested Buckie ward at this year’s local government election.
“I thank him for his service to his constituents since May, and wish him well for the future.”
Cllr Price’s resignation will trigger a by-election in Ward 3; once details are confirmed Moray Council will publish more information.
