The Highlands’ favourite award-winning bakery chain, Harry Gow, is delighted to announce the highly anticipated grand opening of its brand-new store on Harbour Road, Inverness.
This exciting new location marks a significant milestone for the bakery, particularly following the recent closure of its Fairways shop last month.
With the grand opening set for Thursday, April 3, the Harry Gow team is inviting both the Inverness community and visitors from near and far to join them in celebrating this fresh and exciting new chapter.
Designed to offer a welcoming and modern environment, the team is eager to make the Harbour Road store a popular and convenient stop for locals and visitors alike, with a wide selection of freshly baked products made using the finest local ingredients.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to open the doors of our new store on Harbour Road,” said David Gow, director of Harry Gow.
“This location marks not only a fresh start after the closure of our Fairways shop in March but also an exciting opportunity to serve our community even better.
“The space, previously home to Thrifty Car and Van Rental, has undergone an incredible transformation.
“While we initially had doubts about whether it would be large enough to accommodate our needs, we’ve been pleasantly surprised by the results.
“With careful planning, we’ve created a space we’re confident our customers will love.
“With a wide selection of our delicious bakes and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, we can’t wait to share this new chapter of Harry Gow with our loyal customers – and hopefully get to know a few new faces too.”
As a special treat to mark the occasion, the first 100 customers through the doors on April 3 will receive a free slice of birthday cake – a tradition Harry Gow has celebrated with each new store opening.
Inverness-headquartered Harry Gow already operates 17 bakery shops across the Highlands and Moray.
Harry Gow was crowned the first Scottish Baker of the Year in 2012 and, to date, is the only bakery to have scooped the top award twice – winning again in 2019.
Harry Gow’s products are also found in 34 Co-op stores across the north of Scotland, in two branches of Morrisons and one Asda location.
