A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged following the recovery of drugs and cash from a property in a coastal village in Moray.
Around noon on Thursday, 11 September, 2025, officers attended a home on St Peters Terrace in Buckie.
Quantities of cocaine and ketamine were seized, with an estimated street value of approximately £5600.
A four-figure sum of cash was also recovered during the operation.
The man appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court on Friday, 12 September.
County lines operations, where drugs are trafficked into rural areas from urban centres have increasingly taken root across Moray and the Highlands & Islands.
Following the arrest, Detective Constable Tom Spracklen of Elgin CID said the recovery “underlines our commitment” to tackling organised crime networks profiting from exploitation.
“Illegal substances cause real harm and misery to individuals, families and communities,” he said.
Police are continuing to encourage members of the public to report any concerns around drug activity or organised crime.
