Ducati has revealed its Expedition Masters 2026 programme, a global calendar of premium motorcycle travel experiences designed for riders who see the road not as a destination but as a way of life.

Created in partnership with Dainese, the Expedition Masters concept brings together iconic routes, expert guidance and purpose built Ducati motorcycles to deliver immersive journeys across Italy, Iceland and North America.

The programme reflects Ducati’s wider ambition to enrich the lives of riders through experience as much as engineering, offering carefully curated adventures that blend riding, culture, landscape and discovery.

At the heart of Expedition Masters is a focus on organisation, safety and freedom, with each journey supported by qualified instructors, technical assistance and professional logistics, allowing participants to focus entirely on the ride and the places it leads them.

The 2026 calendar showcases Ducati’s Multistrada and DesertX families as the protagonists of these journeys, machines designed to handle long distance touring, mountain passes and demanding off road terrain with equal confidence.

Riders will also benefit from the renewed collaboration with Dainese, with participants equipped in Dainese technical apparel and AGV Touring helmets, while Pirelli supplies SCORPION Trail II and SCORPION Rally tyres to suit every surface encountered along the way.

The first experience of the year celebrates 100 years of Ducati with an eight day, 1,800 kilometre journey through Italy from 6 to 13 July, echoing the spirit of the nineteenth century Grand Tour.

Beginning at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli during World Ducati Week, the route takes riders through Venice, Cortina d’Ampezzo, the Dolomites and legendary Alpine passes including Stelvio and Pordoi, before looping through Lake Garda, Verona and Mantua and returning to the Ducati Museum in Borgo Panigale.

Mid summer sees the programme shift north to Iceland, where three departures between 18 July and 8 August offer a seven day, 1,500 kilometre adventure through some of the most dramatic landscapes on the planet.

Riding the Ducati DesertX, participants will navigate volcanic terrain, glaciers and black lava deserts, combining road and off road riding in a journey designed for experienced riders seeking challenge, skill development and raw exploration.

September brings an epic North American road adventure covering 4,800 kilometres, beginning and ending in San Francisco and taking in Yosemite, Sequoia, Yellowstone, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana and Oregon.

The return to California follows the legendary Pacific Coast Highway, finishing at the Golden Gate Bridge in what Ducati describes as one of the most iconic finales in motorcycling.

The final Expedition Masters journey of 2026 returns to Italy in October with a six stage, 1,800 kilometre route from the Ducati Museum to southern Italy.

Riders will cross the Futa and Raticosa passes, pass through Florence, Siena and Rome, and finish along the sweeping curves of the Amalfi Coast, where road, culture and landscape combine in a classic expression of Italian touring.

Each Expedition Masters journey includes high end accommodation, cultural experiences, riding training, technical support and professional photo and video coverage, creating what Ducati describes as a complete and worry free adventure.

The Expedition Masters programme forms part of the wider DRE Travel Adventures 2026 calendar, with full dates and registration details now available through Ducati’s official travel pages.
