Family Release Statement After Death of Wick Man

The man who sadly died following an incident within a property at Barrogill Street in Wick was Thomas McTeir (pictured), 50, from the town.

In a statement released through Police Scotland, his family said:

“Tommy was a much-loved father and brother. His loss will be sorely felt by many.

“We would ask that we are given privacy to come to terms with his loss at this time.”

Mr McTeir died at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness on Tuesday, 16, June following the incident on Saturday, 13 June.

A 60-year-old man appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court on Thursday, 18 June in connection with his death.
