A crash on the A82 south of Glencoe has left five people in hospital and police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage to help establish what happened on one of the Highlands’ busiest routes.
Five people were taken to hospital after a crash on the A82 south of Glencoe at 10.45am on Saturday 21st of February.
Police were called following reports of a collision involving a white Ford Ranger and a grey Volkswagen ID3 on one of the busiest and most scenic routes in the Highlands.
Emergency services attended and those involved were taken to hospital for treatment.
Officers are now working to understand exactly what happened in the moments leading up to the crash.
A silver Porsche was seen in the area shortly before the collision and police are keen to trace the driver or speak to anyone who may have information about that vehicle.
Constable Adam Vince said:
“Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what occurred, however if anyone has any information or saw the vehicles involved, please contact us.
“I would also like to ask motorists with dash cam who were travelling along the A82 around the time of the incident to check their footage as there may be images which could assist our enquiries.”
The stretch of road south of Glencoe is well used by locals, commuters and visitors alike, and police are urging anyone who was travelling along the A82 around 10.45am to think back to what they may have seen.
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0990 of Saturday 21st of February 2026.
The incident has once again highlighted how quickly serious collisions can unfold on Highland roads and why even the smallest detail from a witness can make a difference.
