Lasagne lovers will have the chance to pick up a free lunch later this month as Zizzi celebrates National Lasagne Day with a giveaway across all of its restaurants.

The restaurant chain is giving away 3,990 free lasagnes on Tuesday 29 July, with the first 30 customers through the doors at midday at each of its 133 restaurants across the UK and Ireland receiving a complimentary dish.

Those who miss out on one of the free meals will still be able to celebrate, with every lasagne on the menu available at half price for the rest of the day.

The promotion includes Zizzi’s popular Six Layer Lasagne, made with egg pasta, beef ragu, béchamel, breadcrumbs and Riserva cheese.

Customers can also choose the All Out Lasagne, featuring extra beef ragu, mozzarella and béchamel, or the Vegan Rainbow Lasagne, which combines butternut squash, beetroot, red onion, spinach, slow roasted tomato sauce, Genovese pesto, crispy kale and breadcrumbs.

The offer will be available while free portions last, with the giveaway beginning at midday.

For Highlands diners, Zizzi has restaurants in Inverness and Aberdeen, giving local customers the chance to take advantage of the promotion without travelling far.
