Promising news has emerged for music fans when the owner of Gellions and Highlander Bars in Inverness, Gavin Stevenson, announced his intention of opening a dedicated Arts and Music venue in the recently closed Revolution site in Church Street, Inverness.

With a capacity of 550, music lovers have been keen to hear news like this since the closure of the Ironworks venue in early 2023.

The new venture will see a full refurbishment and the creation of 25 new jobs, hoping to bring touring bands of all genres to the area, as well as other cultural and arts events.

There will also be a focus on providing local food and drink to their clientele.

More details will be forthcoming over the next few months and contractors have already started working on the premises.
