The event is supported by title sponsor Nairn Car Sales and Nairn BID, the organisers of the event have been delighted to find that this year, they being approached by other businesses wanting to get involved.
“Now in its fifth year, Wheels of Nairn has definitely found its feet and is a firm feature not only on the Nairn events’ calendar, but it seems to be well respected amongst vehicle enthusiasts too.
“Every year we get several emails from people asking when they can enter and there’s always a flurry when we open for business.”
She added:
“We are absolutely delighted to have Nairn Car Sales supporting us again, but what has been brilliant, has been the approaches from other companies wanting to get more involved.
“For example, we now have RM Towbars coming on board as our ‘Best in Show’ prize sponsor.
“They have been a category sponsor in the past, but wanted to get more involved this year.
“The Havelock and Bandstand Bar and Restaurant are also supporting the event with vouchers for prizes, Hangar 96 Prestige Vehicle Storage is a silver sponsor and of course we are welcoming back Makes by Megs as our hospitality partner.”
People can get involved in Wheels of Nairn in several different ways as Lucy explained:
“We have a sponsorship pack which has opportunities to get involved from as little as £30 as a category sponsor which means your name or business name is attached to one of the 17 categories, you can also become a silver or gold sponsor or even take a demo stand.”
Lucy added:
“With up to 400 vehicles on the Links and visitors from all over Scotland and even further afield, it’s a great opportunity to promote your business.”
Nicola Mackinlay who runs Makes by Megs with business partner Megan Maclean said:
“The Makes by Megs team love Wheels of Nairn.
“It is such a great day out and we love to support all the entrants who come from far and wide.
“Not only do we serve them up our cakes and bakes, but we also give them a voucher to use in our cafes.
“It’s provided a great platform for our business, and we have been able to advertise not just the bakery, but our cafes, one in Nairn and one in Elgin.”
