Renowned bakery Harry Gow and distribution specialists M&H Carriers have teamed up to provide a new delivery service to customers in the Highlands and Moray.

From today, Harry Gow fans will be able to order fresh bread, cakes and savoury bakes direct to their doors through the Harry’s at Home service at www.harrygow.co.uk Customers can use the online postcode checker to see if delivery is available in their area – with plans to add more locations in the near future.

Customers can choose from the Tea Time With Bells On box, the Breakfast of Champions box, or – for Harry Gow uber-fans – the Harry’s Favourites box, with prices starting at £16.25.

Fraser Gow, director of Harry Gow, said:

“Aside from the recipe to our famous Dream Ring, one thing we’re asked a lot is when we’re going to start offering deliveries – so the launch today of the Harry’s at Home service is incredibly exciting.

“At a time when people are less able to leave their homes, we’re delighted to still be able to support our local communities by bringing our cakes, breads and savoury bakes straight to them.

“Partnering with M&H Carriers has made the whole process easier, as we are able to take advantage of their delivery expertise to ensure our products get where they should on time and in the condition our customers expect.”

Deliveries for the Harry’s at Home service will be provided by M&H Carriers from its Inverness depot.

Managing director Fraser MacLean said:

“Local businesses are the lifeblood of any community, and M&H Carriers has always been passionate about supporting them with their operations.

At times such as now, reliable deliveries and supply-chain are – more than ever – essential for businesses’ survival.

“Harry Gow is a beloved brand and we are thrilled to be able to support them as they expand their offering to a greater customer base across the Highlands.

“This new partnership is further commitment to our support of locally owned businesses, reflecting the affordability of our reduced rate services.

“We look forward to building on this relationship as time goes on, to ensure that no-one ever has to miss out on their favourite bakes.”

Alongside the new delivery service, Harry Gow stores across the Highlands and Moray will continue to operate in accordance with guidance from the Scottish Government and Scottish Bakers.
