ZetTrans, the Regional Transport Partnership for Shetland, is seeking the public’s views on a draft Regional Transport Strategy.Â
This strategy will set the framework for the development of transport links over the next 20 years, both within Shetland and to/from the Scottish Mainland. Â
The strategy began with a Case for Change consultation in March 2022, which set out the existing transport issues and established a number of strategic objectives.
A set of options, informed by data analysis, research, and stakeholder and public engagement, to deliver these objectives has since been developed and appraised, and collated into this draft strategy.
ZetTrans is now seeking views and feedback on this draft strategy, before a final document is submitted to Scottish Ministers.
The draft strategy documents and a link to the online survey for responses can be found at:Â www.zettrans.org.uk/about/consultations
The deadline for responses to the survey is 5pm on Thursday 23rd February 2023
