High Life Highland is taking its membership roadshows on the road, giving people across the region the chance to discover what is on offer at their local leisure centre and how to get active in an affordable way.
The touring events will see staff visiting leisure sites across Highland to answer questions, showcase activities, and help people decide whether a highlife membership is right for them.
The initiative is aimed at anyone curious about fitness, health, and wellbeing, particularly those who may feel unsure about taking the first step through the doors of a leisure centre.
High Life Highland operates 25 leisure centres across the region, offering gyms, fitness classes, children’s activities, and a wide range of health and wellbeing services.
Several centres also feature swimming pools, with lessons for children, aqua aerobics, and other opportunities to stay active in a supportive environment.
Emma Thomson from the Community, Leisure and Sport team said unfamiliarity can often be a barrier for people considering using their local facilities.
“We realise that if someone is not familiar with their local leisure centre it can be daunting taking that first step to come in and find out if it’s for you.
“That is why we are taking our highlife roadshow on the road, popping up at leisure sites to speak with people, answer questions, and explain how we can support the health and wellbeing of customers and their families.”
Visitors to the roadshows will also be able to access exclusive on the day promotions, guest passes, competitions, and giveaways.
Emma Thomson said existing members are also encouraged to drop in, adding that the team would love to see familiar faces as well as new ones.
Highlife membership is designed to be flexible, accessible, and good value, supporting active and healthy lifestyles for people of all ages.
The roadshows are part of High Life Highland’s wider mission to make life better for people by removing barriers and making wellbeing services welcoming and inclusive.
Details of where and when the highlife team will be visiting next will be shared through High Life Highland social media channels in the coming weeks.
