A former Highland Council officer has been appointed to lead one of Scotland’s best known property development businesses as Robertson Property looks to expand its regeneration work across the UK.
Katherine Mackintosh has been named Managing Director of Robertson Property with immediate effect, taking responsibility for the company’s property development business and its work with public and private sector organisations on regeneration, housing, masterplanning and regional economic development.
The appointment sees a Highland based professional take on one of the most senior roles within the Robertson Group, with the business continuing to focus on projects that support long term economic growth and community regeneration.
Robertson Property says it will continue working with local authorities, regional economic partnerships and other organisations as investment and decision making become increasingly focused on local communities across the UK.
Katherine joined Robertson in 2008 after working at Highland Council and has helped deliver a number of major regeneration projects during her time with the business.
Current developments include work with Cardiff Council on the Atlantic Wharf Butetown regeneration masterplan, incorporating the new 16,500 capacity Cardiff Arena alongside Live Nation, as well as the multi agency South Street regeneration project in Elgin.
As Managing Director she will oversee the strategic direction of the business, building on Robertson Property’s experience in regeneration, masterplanning, asset management and property development.
