Hot Wheels is bringing the high-speed world of Formula 1 to your palm with a limited-edition die-cast car inspired by the upcoming film F1 The Movie, starring Brad Pitt.

The miniature model, crafted at 1:64 scale, recreates the fictional Apex Grand Prix team’s car, driven by Pitt’s character Sonny Hayes.

It features a gleaming black and gold livery and carries Hayes’ iconic number seven, just like in the film.

Set to go on sale via MattelCreations.com, the model is launching just days ahead of the film’s UK premiere on 25 June and its North American release on 27 June.

The car is a love letter to film fans and motorsport enthusiasts alike, blending the rush of the racetrack with cinematic drama.

Each die-cast comes with three sets of miniature Pirelli tyres, a tyre storage rack and a protective ‘Kar Keepers’ display case.

Hot Wheels say it’s their way of letting fans take home a slice of the film’s adrenaline, style and heart.

The car forms part of Hot Wheels’ ongoing partnership with Formula 1, which has already seen collectors snap up previous racing-inspired releases.

But this latest drop is the first to cross into film territory, linking the brand’s racing legacy with a bold new blockbuster.

Brad Pitt’s character, Sonny Hayes, is a former F1 prodigy coaxed out of retirement for one final chance at glory.

The film, directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Lewis Hamilton and others, promises a fast-paced, emotionally charged story about redemption, rivalry and second chances.

Hayes returns to the circuit after a decades-long absence, driving for the struggling APXGP team alongside rising star Joshua Pearce, played by Damson Idris.

With Javier Bardem as the team’s desperate owner and a script packed with real Formula 1 edge, the film is set to appeal to racing fans and cinema-goers in equal measure.

The die-cast model, priced at £30, offers fans a tangible link to the drama before the opening credits even roll.

It’s not just a collector’s item, but a celebration of storytelling, speed and the spirit of comeback.

Whether you’re a die-hard Hot Wheels fan, a Formula 1 devotee or simply love a great underdog tale, this release puts the finish line in your pocket.
