The Inverness Castle Experience will welcome the new season from Monday 30 March, 2026 with extended opening hours and a series of new food and visitor additions.
The changes will give both locals and visitors more time to explore the attraction, which sits at the heart of the Highlands and continues to grow in popularity.
From April to May, the experience will open from 10am to 7pm, with last admission at 5pm, while the Saltire Bistro and Castle Shop will operate from 9am to 7pm.
As part of the seasonal update, preparations are underway for the introduction of outdoor terrace dining at the Saltire Bistro.
The new terrace will offer a relaxed setting with wide views across the city, creating a space for visitors to enjoy food and drink in the open air.
Inside the bistro, a new range of chilled grab and go options will be introduced, offering quick, locally inspired choices for those on the move.
A further addition will see an ice cream pod open within the castle grounds in the coming weeks, adding a simple seasonal touch aimed at families and visitors.
The combined changes are designed to build on the experience already in place, offering more flexibility, variety and reasons to stay longer.
