Inverness Leisure is set to become the home of the Highlands’ largest indoor World Cup Fanzone this summer, with football fans invited to gather for all three of Scotland’s group matches on a giant indoor screen.

The Inverness World Cup Fanzone will screen Scotland’s opening game against Haiti, followed by group fixtures against Morocco and Brazil, creating a shared space for supporters to experience the tournament together.

The event is being delivered by Ironworks Venue, which will transform the venue into a dedicated celebration of Scottish football across the group stage.

Organisers say fans can expect a full match day atmosphere, with a large indoor screen, DJs, live music guests, and a food and drink offering designed to keep energy levels high before, during and after kick off.

The fanzone has been designed as a family friendly event, offering a safe, welcoming and vibrant environment where supporters of all ages can come together to back Scotland on the world stage.

For many, it will be a first chance to experience a Scotland World Cup match surrounded by fellow supporters, while for others it will add a new chapter to a long standing football tradition.

The aim, organisers say, is to recreate the shared emotion of major tournament football, combining the roar of the crowd with a strong sense of community and inclusion.

Speaking about the plans, Caroline Campbell said the focus was on connection as much as competition.

“This fanzone is about more than football, it’s about bringing people together.

“We wanted to create a space where friends, families and fans of all ages can share the excitement, celebrate Scotland, and create memories together that will last a lifetime.”

Tickets are on sale now, with organisers expecting strong demand from across the Highlands.

Supporters can book individual seats or full tables of 10, allowing groups to enjoy the matches together in a shared setting.

Scotland’s opening match against Haiti will be screened in the early hours of Sunday 14 June, with doors opening at 11.30pm on Saturday 13 June ahead of a 2am kick off.

The second group game against Morocco will take place on Thursday 19 June at 11pm, with doors opening at 8.30pm.

The final group match against Brazil will be shown on Monday 23 June at 11pm, with doors again opening at 8.30pm.

Organisers say the Inverness Leisure fanzone is intended to be a focal point for the Highlands during the tournament, offering a place for shared celebration as Scotland returns to the World Cup stage.
