The road ahead looks bright for one of Scottish football’s most iconic competitions, as Isuzu UK has confirmed it will continue as Official Commercial Vehicle Partner of the Scottish Gas Men’s Scottish Cup for another three seasons.

The renewed deal sees the brand extend its partnership with the Scottish FA through to the end of the 2027–28 season.

After three exciting years supporting the competition, Isuzu’s commitment to the Cup has become a familiar and welcome fixture.

First played in 1873, the Scottish Cup is the oldest trophy in association football and remains one of the most fiercely contested.

Celtic lead the honours table with 42 titles, with Rangers just behind on 34.

This year’s final saw Aberdeen lift the cup for the first time in 35 years, winning on penalties after a dramatic 1–1 draw with Celtic that went all the way to extra time.

Now, Isuzu has signed up to support another chapter of unforgettable moments, late winners and historic upsets.

Known as The Pick-Up Professionals, Isuzu UK sees the partnership as a natural fit with its values of reliability, strength and community spirit.

George Wallis, Head of Marketing at Isuzu UK, said the decision to continue backing the competition was an easy one.

“We are very excited to continue our partnership with the Scottish FA as the Official Commercial Vehicle Partner of the Scottish Gas Men’s Scottish Cup,” he said.

“After three fantastic years, we understand just how much this competition means to Scottish football, and it’s a great privilege to remain involved.”

Michael Chisholm, Head of Partnerships at the Scottish FA, welcomed the extension.

He said the partnership with Isuzu had grown into something strong and meaningful, and praised the brand’s commitment to the domestic game.

“We’re delighted to confirm Isuzu’s continued support of the Scottish Gas Men’s Scottish Cup,” he said.

“The relationship we’ve built is one of shared values, energy and ambition, and we’re proud to keep working with The Pick-Up Professionals as our partner.”

The extended deal also reflects Isuzu’s wider commitment to football across the UK, including its involvement in the Clearer Water Irish Cup and its title sponsorship of the Isuzu FA Vase and FA Trophy in England.

For fans of the Cup, it’s yet another vote of confidence in the power and magic of Scottish football.
