Linn House will host a three day Burns Night Supper Series on the banks of the River Isla from the 22nd of January to the 24th of January 2026, bringing together open fire cooking, whisky, and international gastronomy in Speyside.
The event marks the return of the Linn House Supper Series following the sell out success of its inaugural Burns Supper last year, with a new collaboration that promises a distinctive take on one of Scotland’s most cherished traditions.
This year sees open flame chef Ana Ortiz joined by Michelin starred chef Sameer Taneja, Executive Chef of Benares Restaurant, for a limited three night residency.
Together they will create a bespoke Burns Supper that blends Ana Ortiz’s Ecuadorian fire led cooking with Sameer Taneja’s refined Indian cuisine, shaped by his upbringing in Delhi and his classical training under Alain Roux and Pierre Koffmann.
Each menu will be paired with aged whiskies from the Chivas Brothers whisky library, including drams from The Glenlivet and Aberlour, alongside rare expressions seldom available to taste.
Jacques Henri Brive said the collaboration captures the spirit of what Linn House aims to offer.
“Ana and Sameer bring two extraordinary culinary worlds to Linn House, and seeing their creativity come together for Burns Night is something truly special.
“This collaboration embodies our ambition to offer guests rare, memorable experiences where exceptional whisky and world class gastronomy meet in perfect harmony.”
Ana Ortiz said returning to Linn House carried personal meaning.
“Returning to Linn House feels like coming home to a place where fire, flavour and storytelling truly belong.
“Partnering with Sameer allows us to push the boundaries of what a Burns Supper can be, bringing together our cultures, our craft and the beauty of open flame cooking in a way that feels both intimate and unforgettable.”
Sameer Taneja said the setting and collaboration offered something unique.
“Cooking at Linn House is a truly special experience, and working with Ana is incredibly inspiring.
“Blending my Indian heritage with Ana’s fire led Ecuadorian roots has allowed us to create a Burns Night menu that is rich with fresh, expressive flavours while honouring the Scottish tradition at the heart of the occasion.”
The Burns Night Supper Series is priced from £95 per person, with dinners running each evening from the 22nd of January to the 24th of January inclusive.
Guests wishing to extend their stay can book a double room at Linn House for an additional £279, including bed and breakfast, offering a full Speyside escape alongside the dining experience.
The Linn House Supper Series will continue seasonally, with future events planned to bring global flavours to Scotland through food and whisky collaborations with leading chefs.
