Loganair is urging travellers across the Highlands and Islands to get ahead with their 2026 plans after launching its latest Tartan Sale, offering 17% off flights across its entire network.

The sale opened on Monday 29 December 2025 and will run until Thursday 8 January 2026, giving customers a limited window to secure discounted fares for travel from Monday 2 February 2026.

Loganair says the offer is aimed at early spring breaks, short escapes and planned trips across the UK, including vital routes serving island and rural communities.

Passengers can access the discount by using the promo code WINTER17 at the time of booking.

With demand for UK staycations continuing to grow, the airline says the sale is designed to help people lock in value early, whether they are planning a coastal break, a city visit or travel to see friends and family.

Loganair operates more than 70 routes covering the length and breadth of the UK, making it a key carrier for the Highlands, Islands and other regional destinations often underserved by larger airlines.

For many communities, Loganair routes are considered lifeline services, providing essential connectivity for residents, businesses and visitors alike.

The airline also highlighted its partnerships with major international carriers, including Emirates, Qatar Airways, Air France, Singapore Airlines and Aer Lingus.

Through these partnerships, passengers can connect onward via hubs such as London Heathrow, Manchester and Dublin, with the option to book through tickets and have luggage checked all the way to their final destination.

Loganair customers also benefit from a 21kg baggage allowance included as standard, a feature the airline says offers added value for longer stays and multi stop journeys.

Earlier this year, Loganair was ranked among the top performing short haul airlines in the annual Which? customer survey, reflecting strong feedback for service and reliability.

Lyn MacDonald, Director of Marketing, Communications and Product at Loganair, said the sale was timed to meet growing interest in forward planning.

“With many people already thinking ahead to their 2026 travel plans, our Tartan Sale gives customers the opportunity to book early and secure reduced fares across our network.

“Whether it’s a UK staycation, visiting friends and family or planning ahead for spring travel, the sale offers real value while continuing to include our standard 21kg baggage allowance.”

Bookings must be made through the Loganair website, app or Customer Help Centre, with the discount applying to the net fare only and subject to availability.

Loganair says exclusions apply and customers are encouraged to book early to avoid missing out as demand increases.

For Highland and island travellers in particular, the airline says the sale offers a chance to plan ahead with certainty and secure affordable travel at a time when costs remain a concern for many households.

As 2025 draws to a close, Loganair says the Tartan Sale is about starting the new year with something to look forward to.
