Families looking to travel over the school break or festive season can now save on flights, as Loganair brings back its popular Kids Fly Fare-Free deal, but only for a limited time.

The UK’s leading regional airline has relaunched the offer to help families cut costs during two of the busiest travel periods of the year.

Children aged 11 and under can fly without paying an airfare when accompanied by a full-fare paying adult, with only taxes and charges to pay.

The promotion covers flights from 23 September onwards, including the October break and the Christmas holidays.

To take advantage, families must book between Thursday 18 September and Tuesday 23 September.

Loganair’s chief commercial officer, Luke Lovegrove, said the airline wanted to support families making special memories.

“We know how important it is for families to spend time together, especially during the school holidays and at Christmas,” he said.

“Our Kids Fly Fare-FREE promotion is designed to make it easier and more affordable for customers to plan those special trips, whether that’s a short break in October or reuniting with loved ones during the festive season.”

The offer applies to destinations across Loganair’s full network with the exception of inter-isle services in Orkney and is available exclusively via the airline’s website.

Loganair, which recently topped the UK’s airline punctuality rankings for the second quarter of 2025, also earned strong praise in Which?’s latest customer satisfaction survey.

The airline was ranked second overall for short-haul carriers, with a 72% customer satisfaction score, and received five stars for customer service.

Passengers flying with Loganair also benefit from a 21kg luggage allowance as standard and easy onward connections across the UK through a network of partner airlines.
