Moray Council has launched an online cost of living hub to provide support and guidance on issues affecting residents this winter.
The webpage provides information on services available to assist with money worries, business support, energy saving, waste reduction, avoiding cost of living scams and more.
And, as well as information and signposting, practical support will be offered through ‘warm welcomes’.
Whether residents are looking for a quiet space to read, a social space for a blether, or somewhere for a cosy chat with an advisor, they’ll find a warm welcome at council facilities including libraries and community centres.
Posters around Moray will share the details for those with limited digital access.
Depute Chief Executive of Moray Council, Denise Whitworth, said:
“No-one is immune to the rising costs and uncertainty we face this winter and beyond, which can feel overwhelming, and these services are there for anyone and everyone who needs them.
“There’s a lot of support and advice available for anyone struggling with the rising cost of living and this hub will make it easier for residents to access.
“This hub brings all that together and provides a one-stop shop with all the council services that may help, as well as partner agencies across Moray in the public and third sectors.”
