Marks & Spencer is bringing back the joy of little surprises, with a fresh wave of thank you gifts to show appreciation for the unwavering loyalty of customers and colleagues alike.

The beloved Sparks loyalty scheme is now fully up and running, offering a host of thoughtful rewards that range from birthday goodies to free coffee.

This month alone, more than 1.8 million customers will receive birthday treats, with favourites like Percy Pigs, Swiss Truffles, Prosecco and those famously indulgent Outrageously Chocolatey Round Biscuits all up for grabs.

If you missed your birthday in May or June, there’s no need to worry.

M&S is including belated celebrations too, offering customers the choice of two hand-picked food favourites as a gift.

The Sparks Coffee Stamp Scheme is also making a welcome return.

Once you’ve collected six stamps, you’ll be able to redeem a free coffee through your Sparks hub and enjoy a moment of calm in one of M&S’s cafés.

But it’s not just customers getting spoiled.

M&S is giving its 63,000 colleagues a limited-time boost to their usual 20 percent discount, raising it to 30 percent for four days across Fashion, Home and Beauty.

Third-party brands are included too, making it a perfect time to treat yourself or a loved one.

In a rare move outside of the festive season, M&S is also extending a 10 percent discount to over 2,500 people working across its supply chain and in-store partnerships.

That means teams from logistics, security, cleaning and even beauty advisors from big names like Clinique and Estée Lauder will all benefit.

It’s a gesture that reflects more than just good business.

It’s about recognising the people behind the scenes who help keep shelves stocked, stores running smoothly and customer experiences truly enjoyable.

Sharry Cramond, Director of Loyalty, Fashion, Home and Beauty Marketing, summed it up with warmth.

She praised the dedication of M&S staff and the continued support from customers, calling the gesture “a small thank you” for everything they’ve done over the past few months.

And small though the treats may be, they add up to something meaningful.

A thoughtful token, a warm drink, a chocolatey biscuit they are reminders that appreciation still matters.

And that’s something we could all use a little more of.
