A new poll has shown the SNP increase its lead over every other party for the Westminster election.

The Survation poll, from Quantum Communications, shows the SNP has widened its national lead, with support for the SNP in Westminster voting intention at 38%.

Scottish Labour has slipped to 33% and the Scottish Conservatives have also slumped to 15%.

Commenting SNP Depute Leader Keith Brown said:

“It’s encouraging to see people continue to put their trust in the SNP to deliver for the people of Scotland.

“But we won’t take a single vote for granted and we will keep working hard to stand up and protect Scotland’s values.

“Westminster is not working for Scotland.

“The cost of living crisis is hammering Scottish households and neither Labour or the Tories are offering any alternative to broken Brexit Britain.

“At the upcoming election, a vote for the SNP is vote to choose a brighter future where decisions that affect the people of Scotland are taken in Scotland with independence.”
