A luxury hotel has become the title sponsor of a food and drink festival which attracts thousands of people each year.
The Golf View Hotel & Spa has formed a partnership with Taste of Nairn, a three-day event which takes place in the seaside town each May.
The event, now in its fifth year, incorporates two markets, demonstrations, tastings, and a number of individual events and will run from May 9-11.
The Golf View Hotel & Spa owned by Crerar Hotels has given its support to the event organised by Nairn Connects BID, the business support organisation for the town.

Carolyn Carrington from the Golf View Hotel & Spa said:
“We are delighted to be involved with Taste of Nairn, celebrating the incredible local produce and rich culinary history of the town.
“The event is a fantastic opportunity to highlight the craftsmanship that makes Nairn’s food scene so great and a chance to sample delicious cuisine.”
Each year, Taste of Nairn hosts several events over the three days.
It is home to the World Tattie Scone Championships which is supported by Oakwood Cookery and also runs a Showstopper Cake Competition sponsored by Nairn-based bakery, Makes by Megs.
For the second year, Taste of Nairn will host two markets, one held in the town’s Community and Arts Centre and the other in the town centre, run by Moray Markets.
Lucy Harding, Nairn BID manager said:
“We are absolutely thrilled to be working with Golf View Hotel & Spa and are very appreciative of their support.
“They are a very active member of Nairn BID which stages this event and the hotel team has been involved in Taste of Nairn in past years by doing wonderful cookery demonstrations and hosting their own fantastic events over the course of the weekend.
“We are very much looking forward to working with the team over the next few weeks in the run up to the event.”
Lucy added:
“Each year we make tweaks to the event programme to make sure it is fresh and offers something new.
“We are currently working on the programme and are encouraging as many businesses as possible to get involved.
“Nairn has a fantastic food and drink offering; wonderful bistros and restaurants, takeaways, ice cream shops and of course the bespoke food and drink shops we have on our High Street.
“We are so proud of our food and drink outlets.
“Taste of Nairn is a brilliant platform to be able to shout about that.”
