Do you have a favourite High Life Highland member of staff who deserves special recognition for their hard work and dedication to the role?
If so, you can now nominate them in the annual High Life Highland i-care awards.
High Life Highland’s 2024 i-care awards are designed to recognise and celebrate the great successes that the charity’s staff and volunteers achieve every day to make life better for the people of the Highlands.
There are nine categories in total but only the public get to nominate a staff member for the Peoples’ Choice Award – so who do you think consistently demonstrates an outstanding level of service and has gone over and above to ensure the product, service or activity is delivered to a high standard?
The nomination process is now open for four weeks, closing on the 18th July, with the awards ceremony taking place later in the year.
Michael Golding, newly appointed chair of the High Life Highland Board said:
“The High Life Highland i-care awards are all about showcasing our wonderful people and celebrating their dedication and commitment as they contribute to the delivery of our nine services in communities throughout the Highlands.
“It is thanks to these extraordinary and committed people that we can provide these essential services.
“It is fantastic to have an opportunity to recognise the impact they are having and how they are Making Life Better, so please do get involved and make your nomination for the Peoples’ Choice award.”
Steve Walsh, chief executive at High Life Highland added:
“High Life Highland’s facilities and services – including adult learning, archives, countryside rangers, leisure facilities, libraries, museums and galleries, music development, sports and youth work – are operating across every corner of the region.
“It is really important therefore that we take the time to reflect the successes and shine a light on our staff who are really making a difference.”
Each award is judged within the criteria of High Life Highland’s i-care values: Integrity, Community, Accountability, Respect and Example.
