A northbound lane closure will begin on the A82 truck road just north of the existing Corran Ferry junction from 16 February 2026 as part of works linked to the Corran Ferry Infrastructure Improvement Scheme.
The traffic management, led by The Highland Council, will take place in two phases and is currently scheduled to conclude on 24 April 2026.
The first phase will run from 16 February to 6 March 2026 and will involve a daytime only closure of the northbound lane to allow tree clearing operations to be carried out safely.
A planned two week pause with no road restrictions will follow before traffic management resumes.
The second phase is scheduled from 23 March to 24 April 2026 and will support the construction of a new junction associated with the Corran Ferry Infrastructure Improvement Scheme.
During both phases, the northbound lane will be closed during daytime hours only.
The works are part of wider infrastructure improvements linked to the Corran Ferry route, which connects communities across Loch Linnhe.
Highland Council has confirmed it will continue to provide updates as the project progresses.
The council has also thanked road users and local communities for their patience and cooperation during the essential works.
