Overnight Signals and New Layout Planned for A9 Tay Crossing Works

Road users on the A9 north of the Jubilee Bridge at the Tay Crossing will face overnight traffic signals and a new road layout as dualling works continue near Ballinluig.

The changes will begin with temporary traffic signals in place from 7pm on Wednesday 22 April to 6am on Thursday 23 April to allow crews to remove and install new road markings.

The overnight works will prepare the road for a shift in traffic onto newly widened northbound lanes.

From Thursday 23 April, drivers will be guided by temporary line markings and signage onto the widened section of carriageway.

The updated layout is part of ongoing work to support future construction activity along this stretch of the A9.

Drivers are being urged to take care when approaching the area and to allow extra time for their journeys while the works are underway.

Conditions on site may change at short notice, with timings dependent on weather.

Live updates on the works can be found through Traffic Scotland.
