Drivers using the A9 between Pitlochry and Killiecrankie will face overnight traffic management measures as improvement works begin at the Faskally Forest access.
Temporary traffic lights will be in place each evening from 7pm starting Monday the 23rd of March, remaining in operation overnight until 7am the following morning.
The signals will run through the week, with the final overnight restriction ending at 7am on Saturday the 28th of March.
A 30mph speed limit will also be enforced from 7pm on Monday the 23rd of March through to Friday the 10th of April across the full extent of the works.
The measures are required to allow construction improvements to the existing access at Faskally Forest, with work taking place close to live traffic on the A9.
Contractors say the restrictions are essential to ensure the safety of both road users and the workforce while work is carried out beside the carriageway.
To reduce disruption, the most intensive activity has been scheduled overnight, with traffic signals manned at all times to help manage flow.
Access for pedestrians and emergency services will be maintained throughout the works.
Motorists are advised that dates may change depending on weather conditions, with updates expected if schedules are affected.
