Overnight traffic management will be in place on the A9 between Tomatin and Moy as part of the ongoing A9 Dualling works, with temporary signals and a convoy system operating over three nights.
The arrangements will run from 7.30pm to 6.30am on Monday 9 February, Tuesday 10 February and Wednesday 11 February to allow essential maintenance works to be carried out on the carriageway.
Temporary traffic signals will be installed at various locations throughout the project area, with a convoy system in operation to escort vehicles safely through the works.
Road users will be guided by a convoy vehicle while travelling through the affected section of the A9 during the overnight closures.
Drivers should also be aware that existing temporary traffic signals supporting planned drainage works in the Dalmagarry and Moy areas will remain in place during this period.
As a result, motorists travelling overnight will encounter two separate sets of traffic signals while the maintenance works are underway.
The works have been scheduled overnight to reduce disruption and are described as essential to ensure the safety of both road users and the workforce, as activity will be taking place close to live traffic.
While minor delays are possible, they are expected to be minimal, with both sets of signals manned at all times to help manage traffic flow.
Pedestrian access and access for emergency services will be maintained throughout the works.
Drivers are advised that the planned dates may be subject to change depending on weather conditions.
