Police are appealing for information following a break in and theft at a premises on Fort William Road in Fort Augustus in the early hours of Monday 20 April 2026.
Officers were made aware of the incident around 1.30am, with a quantity of alcohol reported stolen.
The suspect is described as around 6ft tall, of medium build, wearing dark clothing and a distinctive red face covering.
Enquiries are ongoing as officers work to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
Detective Constable Ross Naismith said:
“Thankfully no-one was injured as a result of this incident.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed anything suspicious or someone matching the description to contact us.
“I would also ask anyone who was in the area around the time and who may have dash cam or private CCTV footage which could assist to get in touch.”
