Police Appeal After Inverness House Fire Treated as Wilful

Police are appealing for information after a late-night fire at a home in Inverness on Sunday, 12 October.

Emergency services were called to a property on Kessock Avenue at around 11.40pm.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service crews extinguished the blaze.

There were no reports of injuries.

Police have confirmed the fire is being treated as wilful and have launched an investigation.

Detective Constable Ryan Slaney said:

“Thankfully no-one was injured as a result of this reckless act.

“I am appealing for anyone with information which could assist to contact us.

“Additionally, if anyone has any private CCTV or dash cam footage which could assist, please get in touch.”

Officers are conducting enquiries in the area and reviewing any potential video evidence.
