Police are appealing for information following a serious crash involving a car and a motorbike on the A9 near Kildary in Easter Ross.
The incident occurred around 8.30pm on Sunday 21 September and involved a black BMW 3 Series and an orange Keeway TX 125 motorbike.
The motorcyclist, a 26-year-old man, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.
His condition remains critical.
The driver of the BMW did not require medical treatment.
The road was closed for around eight hours to allow emergency services to attend the scene and for collision investigators to carry out enquiries.
Officers are now urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who has dash-cam footage from the area at the time, to come forward.
Sergeant Scott MacDonald of Police Scotland said investigations were ongoing and public assistance could be crucial.
“Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us,” he said.
“We also ask anyone with dash-cam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
