Poll letters are being sent to households across the Highlands this week as preparations continue for the Scottish Parliament Election on 7 May 2026.
The letters provide voters with details of their polling station and voting arrangements ahead of polling day.
While voters do not need to bring the letter with them to vote, it can help staff locate them more quickly on the electoral register.
Those who receive a poll letter do not need to register again unless their circumstances have changed.
Support is available through the Electoral Registration Office for anyone needing further information or assistance.
Information on registering to vote, or applying for a postal or proxy vote, is also available through Highland Council.
In addition, the Electoral Commission will deliver information booklets to households across Scotland to support voters ahead of the election.
Details of candidates standing will be confirmed in the official Notice of Poll, which will be published after 4pm on 1 April 2026.
The election will see voters across the Highlands and Scotland take part in choosing representatives for the Scottish Parliament.
Poll letters are now being delivered across the Highlands ahead of the Scottish Parliament Election, providing key information for voters as preparations continue.
