Restrictions on Various Inverness Roads on Sunday 13 March

A number of restrictions will be in place on roads in and around Inverness to ensure the safe passage of those taking part in the Inverness Half Marathon and 5K events on Sunday 13 March 2022.

No vehicular traffic will be permitted on the lengths of road or parts of the roads undernoted.

B862 Fort Augustus – Whitebridge – Torness – Dores – Inverness Road will be closed to northbound traffic, between its junction with Holm roundabout and its junction with the Ness Bank and Cavell Gardens Road, from 11.30am to 3pm on Sunday 13 March 2022.

Vehicular access for southbound traffic will be maintained at all times.

B862 Fort Augustus – Whitebridge – Torness – Dores – Inverness Road closed to southbound traffic between its junction with Holm Roundabout and its junction with the C10 Torbreck Road, from 12.40pm to 1.30pm on Sunday 13 March 2022.

Vehicular access for northbound traffic will be maintained at all times.

C10 Torbreck Road closed between its junction with the B862 Fort Augustus – Whitebridge – Torness – Dores -Inverness Road and its junction with the C19 Inverness – Ashie Moor Road, from 12.45pm to 1.45pm on Sunday 13 March 2022.

A8082 Inverness Southern Distributor Road closed between Ness Side Roundabout and Holm Roundabout, from 12.30pm to 1.30pm on Sunday 13 March 2022.

Infirmary Bridge will be closed from 9.30am to 4.30pm on Sunday 13 March.

Bught Avenue, Inverness, closed between its conjunction with Bught Drive and its junction with Bught Road, from 12noon to 3.30pm on Sunday 13 March 2022.

Bught Road, Inverness, closed between its junction with Bught Avenue and its conjunction with Ness Walk Upper, from 10.30am to 3.30pm on Sunday 13 March 2022.

Ness Walk Upper, Inverness, closed between its conjunction with Bught Road and its junction with Ballifeary Lane, from 10.30am to 3.30pm on Sunday 13 March 2022.

Ness Walk Upper, Inverness, closed between its junction with Ballifeary Lane and its junction with Bishops Road, from 12.15pm to 3.30pm on Sunday 13 March 2022.

Bishop’s Road, Inverness, closed between its junction with Ness Walk and its junction with Ardross Terrace, from 12.15pm to 1pm on Sunday 13 March 2022.

Bishop’s Road, Inverness, closed to southbound traffic between its junction with Ness Walk and its junction with Ardross Terrace, from 1pm to 3pm on Sunday 13 March 2022.

Vehicular access for northbound traffic will be maintained at all times.

Ardross Terrace, Inverness, closed between its junction with Bishop’s Road and its conjunction with Ness Walk, from 12.15pm to 3pm on Sunday 13 March 2022.

Ness Walk, Inverness, closed between its junction with Young Street and its conjunction with Ardross Terrace, from 12.15pm to 3pm on Sunday 13 March 2022.

B861 Inverness – Leys – Inverarnie Road; single lane closure (south side) of westbound carriageway and footway closure (south side), between its junction with Castle Road and its junction with Ness Walk, from 12.15pm to 3pm on Sunday 13 March 2022.

Castle Road, Inverness, closed to northbound traffic, between its junction with Haugh Road and its junction with Bridge Street, from 12.15pm to 3pm on Sunday 13 March 2022.

Vehicular access for southbound vehicles will be maintained at all times.

Ness Bank and Cavell Gardens Road, Inverness, closed to through traffic between its junction with Castle Road and its junction with Island Bank Road, from 12.15pm to 3pm on Sunday 13 March 2022.

Access to local properties will be maintained from the junction with Castle Road.
