Highland Council is planning to carry out road resurfacing works on Culcabock Road, Inverness, commencing on Thursday 6 July 2023 and extending over two consecutive nights, from 7pm until 7am each night.
To try and minimise any disruption, we are planning to carry out the work when traffic volumes are lighter.
The work is to be phased as follows:
7pm on Thursday 6 July 2023 to 7am on Friday 7 July 2023Ā ā plane out existing road surface in the area highlighted in red on the location plan (pictured), and adjust the levels of any ironwork (e.g. manhole covers, etc) if required.
The work to remove the existing road surface will be carried out before 11pm, to minimise the impact of any noise disturbance on local residents.
7pm on Friday 7 July 2023 to 7am on Saturday 8 July 2023 ā lay new surfacing in the area highlighted in red on the location plan (pictured).
The road will be open during the day 7am to 7pm.
Overnight closures only.
The Council recognises the inconvenience and hopes the long-term benefits will be welcomed by road users.
