Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival has unveiled a fresh wave of artists for its 22nd edition this summer while also confirming its 2026 theme as Party Animals.
The latest announcement sees Rizzle Kicks leading the newly revealed acts as the popular Highland festival continues to build its line up ahead of the event at the Belladrum Estate near Beauly.
The hip hop duo made up of Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander Sule will join the bill after singer Ella Henderson was forced to withdraw from the festival due to unforeseen circumstances.
Known for their high energy performances and feel good chart hits, Rizzle Kicks are expected to bring a lively summer atmosphere to the Highland fields.
Festival organisers say their upbeat style fits perfectly with this year’s newly revealed theme which will see the event embracing a playful wildlife inspired Party Animals concept.
Also joining the festival line up is English singer songwriter Rose Betts whose music has gathered a global following online.
Betts first went viral with her song Driving Myself Home in 2022 before building further momentum with the track Irish Eyes in 2023.
Her emotionally driven songwriting and powerful vocals have helped her attract hundreds of thousands of followers across social media platforms.
Singer Janet Devlin has also been added to the bill bringing her distinctive country influenced sound to the festival.
Devlin first came to national attention through The X Factor in 2011 and has since built a career defined by her unique voice and evolving musical style.
Organisers say audiences can also expect an energetic performance from folk punk band Shanghai Treason.
The group are known for fast paced shows that blend traditional instruments with punk energy and lively stage presence.
Scottish pop duo Scratchcard Wednesday are another of the newly announced acts.
The group features Glasgow born vocalist Tyrese Ojo and multi instrumentalist Dexter Brady and they are already being tipped as one of Scotland’s breakthrough acts.
Completing the latest wave of announcements is Scottish singer songwriter Becky Sikasa.
Her music blends neo soul with alternative rhythm and blues and she was named BBC Introducing Scottish Artist of the Year in 2025.
Last week the festival also revealed its late night programme which includes Oasis tribute act Definitely Oasis, David Bowie tribute band Spiders on Mars, Pink Floyd tribute MacFloyd and the crowd favourite karaoke experience Massaoke.
Belladrum Festival producer Dougie Brown said the annual theme plays a central role in shaping the event each year.
“Launching the theme each year is always a huge moment for us.
“In many ways it is just as anticipated as the line up announcement.
“That is what makes Belladrum so unique.
“It is not just about the music.
“It is a fully immersive escapist experience where the yearly theme helps shape the atmosphere of the weekend.
“For 2026 we are thrilled to unveil Wildlife Party Animals.
“We already know our festival goers will embrace it in spectacular fashion.
“Saturday is always our dedicated fancy dress day and we cannot wait to see the incredible effort and imagination everyone brings to the fields.”
The 2026 festival follows a successful 2025 edition and organisers say ticket demand is already strong.
