A century and a quarter after its first motorcycle rolled into life, Royal Enfield has once again captured the heart of the motorcycling world.

At EICMA 2025 in Milan, the world’s oldest motorcycle brand in continuous production unveiled a remarkable showcase of past, present, and future, celebrating 125 years of Pure Motorcycling with a lineup that blends timeless heritage and bold innovation.

Since 1901, Royal Enfield has shaped motorcycling culture across continents, from the narrow streets of Chennai to the open trails of the Himalayas and the high passes of the Andes.

Now, as it celebrates 125 years, the brand stands both as a guardian of tradition and a pioneer of the next great age of two-wheeled freedom.

Executive Chairman Siddhartha Lal set the tone for the anniversary, describing Royal Enfield as “an enduring symbol of authenticity, craftsmanship, and the pure joy of motorcycling.”

“This incredible milestone is not just about looking back on our legacy,” he said, “but looking ahead with clarity and conviction.

“At EICMA, we’re showcasing everything Royal Enfield stands for, from timeless design and intuitive engineering to bold, future-facing innovation.”

Among those innovations were two standout future concepts, the Electric Himalayan Testbed and the Flying Flea City+ representing the brand’s first bold steps into electrification.

Managing Director and CEO B. Govindarajan said EICMA 2025 was both a celebration of heritage and a statement of intent.

“We are honouring our history by unveiling the Classic 650 125th Anniversary Special Edition, while also reinforcing our core with the new Bullet 650 and the Himalayan Mana Black Edition,” he said.

“Looking ahead, we are preparing the Flying Flea FF.S6 for a 2026 launch, expanding our electric future.”

At the heart of the Milan showcase was the all-new Bullet 650, the crown jewel of Royal Enfield’s legacy.

Since 1932, the Bullet has been the beating heart of the brand, a motorcycle that has carried generations of riders through decades of change without ever losing its soul.

In its latest incarnation, the Bullet 650 carries forward that unbroken lineage with a refined 650cc parallel twin engine delivering smooth, confident power, paired with a steel spine frame and classic Royal Enfield detailing, hand-painted pinstripes, upright stance, and the unmistakable thump that defines the brand.

Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition

Joining it was the Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition, a striking tribute finished in “Hypershift” red and gold paint that changes hue with the light.

Embossed with a gold 125-year crest, it’s both a collector’s piece and a living symbol of Royal Enfield’s heritage, a fusion of artistry, emotion, and engineering.

For adventure riders, the Himalayan Mana Black Edition stole the spotlight with its stealth finish and factory-fitted accessories.

Inspired by the high-altitude Mana Pass, this model embodies Royal Enfield’s mantra of purpose-built exploration, raw, functional, and ready for any trail.

The company also unveiled a limited-run collaboration that had enthusiasts in awe: the Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts Drop.

Only 100 units will be built across the world.

With gold leaf detailing, quilted leather seats, and hand-cast brass badging, it stands as a masterpiece of modern craftsmanship and a nod to Royal Enfield’s deep roots in custom culture.

Flying Flea FF.S6 Scrambler

And looking toward the electric future, the Flying Flea FF.S6 Scrambler showcased Royal Enfield’s forward march into the city+ mobility space.

Lightweight, agile, and powered by a high-torque electric motor, it revives the spirit of the legendary “Flying Flea” paratrooper motorcycles of the 1940s, engineered this time for the backstreets, trails, and rooftops of the modern city.

From the thunder of the Bullet to the whisper of the FF.S6, the message from Milan was clear: Royal Enfield’s next century has already begun and it’s being built with the same soul, passion, and authenticity that defined the first.

As Siddhartha Lal said:

“For 125 years, our mission has been the same, to build motorcycles with soul and make Pure Motorcycling accessible to riders around the world.”

And at EICMA 2025, that mission was louder, prouder, and more alive than ever.
