Santa Swaps Sleigh for Magical Loch Ness Cruises

This December, Santa Claus is parking his sleigh, resting his reindeer and taking to the famous waters of Loch Ness for a series of magical, festive boat cruises.

Following last year’s sold-out events, the highly anticipated Santa Cruises are returning to Jacobite Loch Ness Cruises across two weekends in December.

Young explorers and their families can swap dry land for holiday magic aboard a festive one-hour voyage of the loch, departing from Dochgarroch.

While keeping a lookout for the loch’s legendary resident, children aged 1-11 will get to meet Santa, receive a snack, juice and an early Christmas gift, while adults will enjoy a hot drink and festive mince pie.

“Loch Ness is already steeped in magic, but bringing Santa aboard takes the festive spirit to an entirely new level, and we can’t wait to welcome him back, especially at his busiest time of the year,” says Alison Daun, Managing Director of Jacobite Loch Ness Cruises.

“Our Santa Cruises always help create unforgettable Christmas memories for families.

“And after the incredible response last year, we can’t wait to welcome everyone back on board for lots of festive fun on Loch Ness.”

Santa Cruises will sail on Saturday 12th, Sunday 13th, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th December, departing at 1pm and 2.30pm.

Tickets can be purchased here, with early booking strongly advised.
