ScotRail is helping fans travel to and from the upcoming Oasis Live ’25 shows at Scottish Gas Murrayfield with a series of extra late-night trains and boosted capacity across the weekend and beyond.
The legendary Manchester band will take to the stage in Edinburgh for three huge nights, Friday 8 August, Saturday 9 August, and Tuesday 12 August with thousands of fans expected to make the journey from across the country.
In addition to ScotRail’s already enhanced Edinburgh Festival timetable, more late-night services are being added specifically for concertgoers, making it easier for music fans to enjoy the gigs and get home safely afterwards.
Trains will run late into the night to key destinations including Glasgow Queen Street, Dundee, Perth and Dunblane following each of the shows.
“With just a few days to go until the highly anticipated Oasis gigs at Murrayfield, we’re really looking forward to helping fans travel to what promises to be an unforgettable series of shows,” said Phil Campbell, ScotRail’s Customer Operations Director.
“We’ve got more trains running throughout the Edinburgh Festivals, and we’re adding late-night services for the gigs themselves to help fans make the most of the occasion.”
Murrayfield Stadium is just a short walk or tram ride from Haymarket station, and customers are encouraged to plan ahead, book return tickets in advance, and allow plenty of time at the end of the night.
When the shows finish, Haymarket Terrace will host a designated queuing area to manage crowds and direct fans safely to their trains.
ScotRail is advising customers to use the app, website, ticket offices or self-service machines to purchase tickets ahead of time, and extra staff will be on hand to help everything run smoothly on the ground.
“We’re encouraging everyone to plan their journey in advance, make the most of the extra services, and soak up the atmosphere of a great night in the capital,” added Campbell.
With three sold-out nights and one of Britain’s most iconic bands on the bill, Oasis Live ’25 promises to be a major moment in Scotland’s musical summer and ScotRail is making sure no one misses a beat.
