Serious Assault in Tain

Police in the Highlands are appealing for information following the report of a serious assault of a man outside an address in Tain.

The incident happened around 4.30am on Sunday 10 November 2019, in a car park in Argyle Court where a 27-year-old man sustained a number of injuries to his face.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics.

The first suspect is described as a white male in his mid to late 20s, around 6ft tall, of a slim build with short dark hair.

He was wearing a blue jacket and blue jeans.

The second white male is said to be in his mid to late 20s, around 5ft 10in tall, of a slim build with short dark hair and was wearing a black jacket with black tracksuit bottoms.

Commenting Sergeant Nicola MacDonald of Alness Community Policing said:

“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this assault or who was in the area at the time contact police.

“A man has sustained a number of injuries and we are asking anyone who may have information matching these descriptions to get in contact with us.”
